Supporting Berry Street
The 2026 MC Labour Golf Day was one for the books. With a record 28 teams joining us at Green Acres Golf Club on 23 February, the day was filled with energy, generosity and a shared commitment of supporting Berry Street.
The course was alive with energy as teams of four took to the fairways, enjoying shared carts, friendly competition and a range of on-course activities. From light-hearted moments to competitive drives down the fairway, the day reflected the strong community spirit that continues to define the MC Labour Golf Day year after year.
Off the course, the clubhouse buzzed with excitement as guests participated in a highly supported raffle and auction. Premium prizesgenerously donated by businesses and supporters, sparked enthusiastic bidding.
Berry Street’s Mission
For more than 140 years, Berry Street has been creating safer, more hopeful futures for vulnerable children and families. The funds raised at this year’s Golf Day will directly support programs that offer protection, stability and longterm care to those who need it most.
We were honoured to have Diana Doyle, Berry Street’s Major Gifts Manager, join us on the day. Drawing on her experience as a former Case Manager working directly with children and young people in outofhome care, Diana shared powerful insights into how community support can truly change lives. Her words were a heartfelt reminder of why this event matters.
